Trike's story
Trike is a 5 year old male who came into the shelter on 5/29 as a stray.

Trike was laying down on his blanket the first few times we saw him. It was a little shocking once we realized his back leg was gone. He was pleasant to leash up. Hes an older guy and seems to know the ropes from being in a home. Hes definitely housebroken too, major holder. Once Trike is mobile, you may forget hes down a limb. Hes a mover and a shaker. He had on problem dragging me around and running off leash. The only thing I saw him have an issue with was sitting but thats understandable. He loooovvees to play fetch and hes good at it. Brings the ball back and drops it.
Trike was a bit anxious when I had him out but there was a ton of activity going on around us in the yard. He allowed for handling all over, including his amputation location. Hes an affectionate dog that loves to give sloppy wet kisses. Trike was reluctant to go back in his kennel although he was easily convinced. Cant blame a guy for trying to get extra 1-on-1 time.
