Chili Rottweiler Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Chicago, Illinois

Chili is a 1 year old Rottweiler that just gave birth to 13 babies on January 28, 2018. That's larger than your average Rottie litter! We do not know the father, but from the looks of them, they look possibly part Shepherd. We found Chili, already pregnant, knocking over garbage cans, searching for food. Chili is your typical goofy, playful, dog that enjoys giving lots of kisses. Since she is so young, she will do well with consistent training as she will need to learn how to not jump on people, how to take treats softly, and all your other basics. Chili is dog and people friendly. She currently lives with cats and dogs, but she now tends to want to chase the cats. So, Chili would do better in a household with another active dog. She can go to a home with kids, but would again, need training on properly saying hello as she could knock over young children. Because she is a strong dog, we will like someone who understands Rottie behaviors and has previous dog experience. She is for the most part housebroken, but definitely crate trained. She is quiet, but if there are dogs barking outside, she will bark too (not consistently, more like she wants to play too). She would do well in a house with or without a yard, as long as she gets enough exercise. As of now, Chili is not available for adoption for a few more months. She is a momma first, but when her puppies are ready for adoption, so will she. We are taking applications in advance for Chili, when she becomes available in April. Please apply at leadrescue.org!
