Winnie is a 4 year old spayed female who came into the shelter on 2/22 as a stray.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and wiggle some more. Thats what Winnie does. Shes 4 years old but youd never guess it - shes playful like a puppy (and small, too - a quintessential pocket pittie). Winnie sits so patiently in her kennel waiting for her turn to go out. Shes easy to leash up and eager to get outside. She wants to check everything out - shes interested in her surroundings, but what she REALLY wants to do is head to the playlot to run around. Winnie will zoom this way and that. She loves toys and hops around like a little bunny with them in her mouth. Winnie can get a bit overstimulated when youre down on her level, but she really does chill out after a while. Shes gentle taking treats and allows handling all over. Winnie also likes full body scratches and pets. Its apparent that Winnie has had a litter (or two or three) and probably wasnt cared for very well in her past life. Now, Winnie has a second chance at a caring and trustworthy home.
